Top Albums of 2003

Due to a lack of effort on my part, I'm putting together this list of my top albums of 2003 right smack on the front page. Its not like there's anything on the inside pages of this website anyways. Here it goes:

Promise Ring - Wood / Water1. Promise Ring : Wood Water The band is no more, but they went out with a bang. Surpassing all their previous efforts (yes even Very Emergency) this one brings it all home.

Postal Service - Give Up2. The Postal Service: Give Up This album takes drum machines to the next level and Ben Gibbard's vocals and lyrics are outstanding as usual. This one gives you an airy feeling... just beware the final track (where did that come from anyways?)

Death Cab for Cutie - Transatlanticism3. Death Cab for Cutie : Transatlanticism Bested by his own side project, I wouldn't call this album a disappointment, but it wasn't what I was expecting. A very quiet and introspective album offering up some gems you can take home(The New Year & Lack of Color).

All for now... enjoy the musik
