Song of the Day: Portland Is Leaving by Rocky Votolato Archive

Judy is a Punk

I managed to get out to the movies this weekend (this time successfully)and see End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones. Not being a huge Ramones fan, I can give my unbiased opinion that this was a so-so movie at best. When asked if it was about the rise and fall of the Ramones I replied, well, there wasn't much of a rise, 'cause they never made it really big, and therefore it wasn't much of a fall. Overall it was kind of a bland movie that had a lot of early band footage, and some colorful commentary from Dee-Dee Ramone. I think hardcore fans would really like this movie, and for the rest of us, well, it makes you think maybe you could be a rockstar.

I always thought Joey Ramone looked kind of like Howard Stern. Or maybe vice-versa,...
