Chopper One

The problem with a husband/wife combo band is that it makes people think about marriage. No one want to think about marriage when they are rocking out. Not that there's anything wrong with marriage.

Even worse they put a picture of their daughter on the cover of the album! Now you got me about marriage AND kids, when I should just be thinking about rocking out.

Chopper One missed the boat. Married couple groups are out, divorced couples are in. Look at The White Stripes or Quasi (OK, Quasi sucks, but you think ANYBODY would even listen to them if they weren't such a novelty?).

Jason Cropper is a legend, if for nothing else he co-wrote on of the best songs on Weezer's first album, My Name is Jonas. The fact is that this album is OK, but it kind of makes me sad that Jason was on the brink of being in one of the greatest bands of the 90's for this.

Bands like Chopper One and Ridel High were so sugary-sweet and over produced, everyone got sick and went home.
