The Get Up Kids

The kids are outta town

Website

The Get Up Kids were the pillar of emo, they mastered the sound and no one could do it better. Their album "Something To Write Home About" is eloquently whiney and is a classic album.

Unfortunately their last show was on July 2, 2005, and they have called it quits permanently. However the side projects still remain. These include Reggie and The Full Effect, The New Amsterdams, and The Belles.
