These guys have recently renamed to the somewhat more marketable name The Most Serene Republic, which is probably a good idea (although after getting used to the name Thee Oneironauts, it becomes far easier to pronounce, kind of like Transatlanticism).

I enjoyed these guys music from first listen, and thanks to their drum machine intensive rhythms, it has a very Postal Service vibe to it. Some of their songs get a little out there, but they cannot be accused of being unoriginal...

Many of their songs have an epic quality to them, such as Content Was Always My Favorite Color... my favorite track pre-The Most Serene Republic.

For all of you wondering, oneironaut is a real word, and means an explorer of the dream world.
